June Khuyen Brisco Has Been Missing From L.A. Since 1996

No missing person vanishes without leaving some sort of trail, but in 1996 June Khuyen Brisco did just that. The 24-year-old was in the area of Western Ave. and 55th St. in Los Angeles when she was last seen. Family members told police that June liked to frequent the Western Ave and Slauson Blvd. area as well as the 1000 block of E. 81st St.
One person tied to this missing person case is a man only known by the name of Donald. During the initial investigation into June’s disappearance, it became apparent that “Donald” was an associate of June’s but no one close to her could provide a last name for the mystery man—no description, location, or if “Donald” was even his real name. Even until this day, Donald has never been identified.
At the time of her disappearance, June Khuyen Brisco, stood 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighed 100 pounds. She had brown eyes and black/dark brown hair, but at the time her hair was bleached to a blonde color. She also went by the name “June Jefferson.” Some reports state that June has been missing since April 21, 1996 while others have the date as May 1, 1996. The April date may be the last time anyone was known to have contact with her and the May date may have been when someone had plans to meet up with her and she never showed.
Anyone with information about what may have happened to this young woman or where she may be located is urged to contact the Los Angeles Police Department at 213-485-5381 or 1-877-LAWFULL (1-877-529-3855), or their local authorities.
