Wendy Marie Dehoop, 44: Vanished After Taking Her Husband To Work

Wendy Marie Dehoop (1)

In the early morning hours of April 22, 2005, Wendy Marie Dehoop dropped her husband, Dan, off at work at Home Depot. Afterward,  the Eugene, Oregon resident was set to make her way to the Georgia-Pacific, her place of employment, but Wendy never showed up.

Two people reported Wendy missing: her boss and her friend, David Tishim. Some reports have described David as Wendy’s “boyfriend,” but that isn’t confirmed.

Six days after Wendy was last seen, a man walked into a Bi-mart in Eugene and handed over a purse later identified as belonging to Wendy Marie Dehoop. He said he found the purse while he was out walking his dog. Investigators later determined that Wendy’s wallet was missing, but details about whether or not evidence was discovered are unclear.

In early May, ten days since anyone had heard from Wendy, her vehicle, a white 1990 Toyota Corolla SR5, was located on Lorane Highway in south Eugene. There were no clues that gave investigators any indication as to where she could be. Nothing shows she was planning on leaving of her own accord. However, no signs were found that pointed to foul play, either.
