Home » Roxann Ellison, 35: Vanished From Arizona In 2006
I believe that no matter what someone’s financial or social status is, we should still treat them as a person of value. Missing persons, especially black women, who are known to be addicts, prostitutes, or homeless, aren’t treated with the same care and concern as others. Such is the case of Roxann Ellison, who disappeared from Phoenix, Arizona, on September 3, 2006. She was last seen at a family member’s home in the area of 10th Street and Romley. The 35-year-old was living as a transient at the time and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Because she didn’t own a vehicle, it isn’t believed that she drove off or traveled to another area.
There are very few public details made available in Roxann’s case, but it is noted that she was addicted to drugs when she went missing. Foul play is suspected.
At the time of her disappearance, Roxann Ellison was described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and approximately 110 pounds. She has black/dark brown hair, brown eyes, and freckles on her face. Her left nostril was pierced, with four piercings in each ear. Roxann has a scar on her abdomen and several tattoos, including the words “sex me” and her name, “Roxann,” both tattooed on her left hand. Three of her upper back teeth are missing. She is known to go by the last names “Turner” or “Wilson.” She would be 48 years old today.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Phoenix Police Department at 602-261-8042 or their local authorities.
