Cynthia Carver Vanished In The Night; Blood Found All Over Home **FOUND DECEASED**

Anne Carver was trying desperately to contact her daughter, Cynthia Carver. When all attempts failed, Anne decided to stop by her daughter’s Newsoms, Virginia, home to check to see if anything was out of the ordinary. What she discovered was a nightmare for any mother.

The last time anyone had contact with Cynthia was on February 21, when she left her children with their babysitter around 9:00 p.m. The 34-year-old mother was due to arrive at the Deerfield Correctional Center in the morning hours of February 22. It was a new job for Cynthia. However, she never showed up for her shift. That day, Anne called her daughter to check in with her but couldn’t get her on the line.

Cynthia’s mother could tell that something terrible happened to her daughter as she surveyed the scene of Cynthia’s home. According to court documents, Anne saw that there were multiple traces of blood on the carpet, a bloody knife in the living room, and “a pool of blood by the rear door.”

The police found even more evidence that showed someone had endured a violent attack. There was blood located on Cynthia’s sheets, on clothing inside the home, and on her driveway. It looked as if a struggle had taken place, but there was no evidence that a break-in had occurred.

Investigators have interviewed several people connected to Cynthia, but they have yet to narrow down their suspect pool. The missing woman’s family reportedly told police they overheard her say something about meeting a man, but that unknown male has to be identified. Detectives hope to identify a vehicle — a silver Chrysler — that was spotted leaving Cynthia’s place the evening she disappeared.

At the time of her disappearance, Cynthia Carver is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and 135 to 150 pounds. She has black/dark brown hair and brown eyes.
