It was almost exactly one year ago when Raissa McIntosh left her home and was never to be seen or heard from again. According to reports, the 27-year-old was with a friend when she walked out of her North Palm Beach, Florida residence without her mobile phone or any other communication device.

The circumstances surrounding Raissa’s disappearance are particularly troubling for investigators because she’s been diagnosed with a mental illness and it’s assumed that she’s been without her medication. Authorities have spoken with the friend Raissa was last seen with, but details of that conversation haven’t been made public.

At the time of her disappearance, Raissa stood 5 foot 4 inches (some list her as 5 foot 5 inches) tall and 200 to 240 pounds. Her hair is black or dark brown, and her eyes are brown. The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, or NamUs, lists her ethnicity as “Black / African American, White / Caucasian.” Raissa was last seen wearing an orange knee-length dress.

Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at 561-688-3400 or their local law enforcement agency.
