She may have gone missing in October 2007, but Angela M. Wilkerson’s case wasn’t entered into the government’s National Missing and Unidentified Persons System database until October 2018.
The information made public in this case is very minimal. The last date of contact is listed as October 1, 2007, but it’s assumed that the first of the month was chosen because Angela was last seen around the city of Chicago that month.
At the time of her disappearance, Angela was described as having black or dark brown hair and brown eyes. She’s somewhere between 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and 120 to 140 pounds. She reportedly has a number of tattoos: her left hand has the letters “LS” inside of a heart; the words “I Love My Family” are on her right arm; she also has tattoos on both of her legs that haven’t been specifically detailed.
Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact the Chicago Police Department – Area Central at (312) 747-8366. According to NamUs, Detective Samantha Szymanski is in charge of Angela’s missing person case.
