On October 10, 2017, it was reported that 38-year-old Dennaia Gillespie got into a verbal argument with her roommate. NamUs reports the mother left her daughter with her roommate at their Marietta, Georgia, home.

Her tattoos include an angel on her upper left arm and a phoenix on her right arm.
