The family of Creola Courtney Jones describes her as a gentle, loving person. On November 09, 2009, Creola and her husband were dropped off at the airport in St. Croix, Virgin Islands. There wasn’t reportedly anything strange about the day or their travels, but a mystery was sparked that day. Authorities say that was the last time anyone has seen or heard from Creola Courtney Jones.

It’s unclear whether or not her husband was located because there are few public details made available in her case. According to NamUs, Creola was a resident of Mississippi when she vanished. The purpose of her visit to the Virgin Islands remains unknown.

At the time of her disappearance, Creola stood 5 feet tall and was 190 to 210 pounds. She had dark brown hair (dreadlocks) and brown eyes. Any distinguishing marks or her last known clothing items are unknown. Some publications describe her as being 5 feet 7 inches tall.
