Gerri Nicole Anderson Gave Her Car To A Drug Dealer & Went Missing

The last time Gerri Nicole Anderson was seen, she was in Detroit, Michigan on October 11, 1990. She allegedly told her loved ones that she was going to Chicago, although it’s unclear if she was moving to the Windy City or if she was just planning to visit. The reason for her trip has not been shared, either.
Two weeks later, Gerri’s father received a letter in the mail from the 24-year-old. She’d reportedly turned over the title of her car, a maroon/burgundy 1987 Ford Merkur, to a drug dealer. The name of that person hasn’t been made public. No one has seen or heard from Gerri since. Other information included in the letter is unknown to the public.
At the time of her disappearance, Gerri Nicole Anderson stood between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall. She reportedly weighed anywhere between 120 and 150 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. Gerri’s hair was described as being short and natural, but she also would press her hair, as well. She has a dark birthmark on the top left side of her chest. She was last seen wearing tan pants and a brown jacket. She would be 53-years-old at the time of this publication.
Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-2300.
