The circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Sonya Marie Rouse are ominous, but her loved ones continue to search for answers. Authorities can’t seem to pinpoint the exact date when the last time anyone saw the 50-year-old missing woman but it was sometime in March 2016. Some outlets list the date as March 5, while others say the last sighting occurred somewhere between March 5 and March 15.

The Chicago Tribune reported years ago that Sonya was somewhere in the vicinity of 75th Street and Champlain Avenue on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, when she went missing. Sonya had been reportedly diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and in March 2016, she was living with an abusive boyfriend.

At the time of her disappearance, Sonya Marie Rouse was described as being 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. Her hair was styled in a blondish-brownish, curly wig. National missing persons databases have noted that Sonya was top-heavy in the breast area.
