Lovace Simmons Missing

The mystery surrounding the disappearance of Lovace Simmons continues to stump investigators. Few details have been publicly available, but as I’ve done before, I’ve pulled together as much information as possible.

Two days after Christmas, on Sunday, December 27, 1998, it’s reported that 22-year-old Lovace Simmons celebrated the holiday season by spending time with her boyfriend. She attended a party held at his Chicago, Illinois, home and was seen by partygoers leaving the residence. Lovace reportedly stated that she was going straight home and didn’t plan on meeting with anyone or making any stops. However, her mother raised an alarm after Lovace didn’t report to work the following day, on Monday.

Lovace has never been seen or heard from again. Unfortunately, readily available information regarding her case is scarce, if not unavailable, altogether.

Lovace Simmons: What To Know

At the time of her disappearance, Lovace was described as 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and 135 to 145 pounds. She had dark brown hair and brown eyes. She reportedly has a pea-sized birthmark on her chin. Her mode of transportation or the clothing she was last seen wearing hasn’t been shared. The Doe Network reported it is unknown if Lovace’s fingerprints, DNA, and dental records are on file.

Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact the Chicago Police Department at 312-744-8200 or their local authorities. The agency case number is C825472.
