Tamikqra Rogers Missing (1)

Decades ago, a woman left for work, never to return. We’d like to think that when we leave our homes to go about our days, we’ll arrive at our destinations, safe and sound. However, that isn’t always the case, and the family of Tamikqra Rogers has been attempting to figure out what happened to the 24-year-old those many years ago.

On July 22, 1999, Tamikqra Rogers left her home on the 2700 block of Blount Street in the city of East Point, Georgia. According to her mother, Tamikqra was headed to the bus stop and departed at 5:30 a.m. to make her way to work. Mysteriously, Tamikqra never arrived at her job, which was also located in East Point, and no one has seen or heard from her since. There haven’t been many details about this case made available to the public, so the specific circumstances surrounding her disappearance are unknown, including information about her personal life.

At the time of her disappearance, Tamikqra Rogers stood 5 feet 11 inches tall and 180 to 190 pounds. She had brown hair, brown eyes, and had two freckles directly above her right eye. Tamikqra also had a dark freckle below her left eye. Both of her ears were pierced and one of her upper front teeth had a gold cap. Tamikqra was last seen wearing a white shirt, navy blue pants, size 10.5 work boots, a ring with a purple stone on her right hand, and a watch on her left wrist. She would be 45-years-old at the time of this publication. Her middle name is “Sandreia.”

Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact the East Point Police Department at 404-765-1096 or their local authorities.

Please share this story about Tamikqra Rogers in order to reignite the investigation into this case. She is our sister and her life matters.

Daphne Jones Missing (1)

A young woman has been missing for over two decades and there doesn’t seem to be any movement on her case. It was just days after the New Year when Daphne Jones reportedly had enough. Reports state that the 22-year-old was a student at the University of New Orleans and moved out of the dormitory into an apartment off-campus. Daphne learned that she was pregnant, so she reportedly decided it was time to leave school, quit her part-time hostess job at Brennan’s Restaurant, and return home to Maryland to move back in with her mother. She vanished before that could happen. (more…)
