Joyce Marie Kennedy Missing

Louisiana has a decades-old missing person case that is no closer to achieving closure. According to The Doe Network, there isn’t much information available regarding the missing person case involving Joyce Marie Kennedy. The 32-year-old reportedly went missing from Marrero, Louisiana, on July 9, 1992.

I’ve written this on the website more times than I can count, but here it is one more time: The circumstances surrounding this case are unclear. The Doe Network reports that Joyce Marie Kennedy was last seen getting into a black car. She told someone, an unknown person, that she was going to Buras, Louisiana. Who was driving the car isn’t known, and why she was traveling to Buras is a mystery, as well. She has never been seen or heard from again.

At the time of her disappearance, Joyce Marie Kennedy stood 5 feet 5 inches tall and 120 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. Joyce was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. She reportedly had a tattoo of the name “Joyce” on her left arm. She would be 60-years-old at the time of this publication. Her DNA is on file. Some agencies list her missing date as July 10 and her age as 33.

Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Detective Gina Latour at 504-364-5300 or their local authorities.

Please share this story about Joyce Marie Kennedy to help reignite the investigation into her disappearance. She is our sister and her life matters.

Rasheeyda Wilson Missing

Those of us “Gen Xers” or “Millennials” will remember the days of our childhoods when we were urged to play outside, usually until the street lights came on. It’s assumed that was what 9-year-old Rasheeyda Wilson was doing on July 15, 1991, when she was playing on the fire escape of an apartment building with her friend. It’s reported that the landlord saw the girls and told them that needed to play somewhere else because the fire escape was a dangerous place for kids, and so they quickly left and parted ways, with Rasheeyda heading to her home.
