Jeanette Marie Lamb: Last Seen Getting Into A Car With A Man In 2002

Jeanette Marie Lamb

This case came across my desk after a woman who claimed to be the stepsister of Jeanette Marie Lamb sent me an email. She asked for her sister’s missing person case to be highlighted here on Our Black Girls, and I wanted to do what I could to help. According to reports, the 31-year-old was last seen at a relative’s home in Phoenix, Arizona (on the 5300 block of West Campbell Street near 51st Avenue) not long after the new year on January 10, 2002.

A Look At Jeanette’s Personal Life

Jeanette Marie Lamb

Jeanette Marie Lamb, a mother of three boys who were young at the time of her disappearance, was close with her family. While it’s reported that there were certain times when she may have gone quiet and not been in contact with her loved ones for a few days, she would always resurface. On the day she disappeared, an unidentified man in a white pickup truck picked Jeanette up from her relative’s home, and that was the last interaction her family had with her. No public reports have given any descriptions of the man in question.

When she couldn’t get in contact with Jeanette for 30 days, the missing woman’s sister officially filed a report with authorities.

“She was also a lady of the streets. No leads after all these years she left 3 children, ten brothers and sisters, and her mother, feel authorities never took this [seriously]. Would love if you could keep this alive,” Rosetta Johnson, Jeanette’s stepsister, shared with me.

Little information is known about Jeanette’s case, and news reports are scarce, if not absent altogether. Investigators believe she was the victim of foul play.

Jeanette has several tattoos: “Gladys” on her left hand,  “Davionta” on her breast, “J-Dogg” on her right forearm decorated with flowers, and “Cecil” on her leg. She was reportedly last seen wearing black jeans, a black “Prime Trucking” coat, and a green Army hat. Jeanette would be 50 years old at the time of this publication.
