Wanda Trotman Missing Homeless Florida

As hundreds of millions of people were celebrating the turn of the year back on New Year’s Eve in 2009, the family of Wanda Trotman didn’t know their time with her would be their last. The 44-year-old was a homeless woman from Opa-Locka, Florida who regularly checked in with her family members. It’s reported that Wanda would contact her loved ones at least once a month, but they became concerned after she missed two visitations.

After not showing up for months, Wanda’s relatives contact the police and filed an official missing person’s report. Her life remains a mystery as there are very few reports about her case and none of them detail her personal relationships, people that she interacted with, how or why she was homeless, if she lived with any medical conditions, etc. Those who have been curious about Wanda Trotman and her disappearance have attempted to draw comparisons to unsolved and unidentified cases, but thus far, she still remains missing.

At the time of her disappearance, Wanda Trotman stood 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighed 155 to 165 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. Wanda’s hair was styled in short twists with red tips. The clothing that she was last seen wearing is unknown, but NaMus reports that she regularly used public transportation. Any identifiable physical marks or tattoos weren’t listed in her public report. Wanda would be 55-years-old at the time of this publication.

Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact Det. R. Bell at (305) 953-2877 or (305) 681-1033. They may also contact the Opa-Locka Police Department at (305) 717-8897 or their local authorities.
