*Update* Za’Ria Wojtylko has been located and reunited with her family.

An OurBlackGirls supporter sent me a few flyers about this case, so it seems only fitting to highlight Za’Ria Wojtylko. A worried family in Detroit, Michigan, is searching for the 13-year-old who may have been lured and abducted by a man she met on Snapchat. The young teen reportedly left her home in the area of 6 Mile and Alcoy Street on Tuesday (August 3) afternoon around 4:00 p.m., but the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are still unclear at this time.

It is also reported that Za’Ria’s cellphone, as well as its location services, have been turned off, making tracking efforts futile. Her relatives revealed that Zaira was corresponding with someone on Snapchat, and they fear that she has been abducted or coerced into a dangerous situation.

The family of Za’Ria Wojtylko is offering a $10,000 reward for anyone who has information that will aid in the safe return of the teenager.

At the time of her disappearance, Za’Ria Wojtylko stood 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighed 120 pounds. She has black/dark brown hair (styled in neck-length twists) and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue pullover hoodie, Army fatigue stretch pants, and black and white Michael Kors gym shoes.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact the Detroit Police Department at (313) 267-4602 and 313-596-5934, the family’s hotline at 313-423-8281, or your local authorities.
