Charita Chambers, 35: Left Texas Home & Didn’t Return
Unfortunately, finding information about this case has been difficult. In recent weeks, I have had a stroke of luck in the missing person cases I’ve reported on, as information has been abundant. When deep-diving for details about Charita Chambers, however, I could almost hear the sound of a record scratching to a stop with each glimmer of hope that surfaced.
I did find that Charita went missing from Houston, Texas, on October 16, 2018. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance are unclear, but it seems that the 35-year-old left her home and simply never returned. Her family, work, and personal relationships are unknown to the public. There is not any information regarding the development of the case, and it has not been reported whether or not investigators believe that she is endangered or if foul play is expected.
Although the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) reports that Charita was last seen on October 16, the Texas Department of Public Safety stated that her last date of contact was October 22.
At the time of her disappearance, Charita Chambers stood 5 feet to 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighed 115 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. Any distinguishing marks are unknown. She was last seen wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and a plaid jacket. Charita’s middle name is “Antionette.”
