The exact circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Terri Mozze are unclear, and like many others, little has been shared about her case. I did my best to find personal information about Terri, her family, her employment, or what she may have been doing in those days prior to her going missing, but it did not prove to be fruitful.
What has been shared is that on Saturday, March 3, 2001, Terri Mozze was in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was last seen getting into a taxi. She reportedly had luggage with her and she told someone, unknown at this time, that she planned on taking a trip. However, reports also stated that Terri claimed she would be back that weekend, meaning her trip was to be short-lived and she did not intend on staying away for a lengthy period of time.
Who Terri may have been traveling to see, if anyone, or where she planned on going remains unclear. The 42-year-old lived with Parkinson’s Disease and has never been seen or heard from again. It is reported that she has not collected her Social Security benefits. In 2004, Terri was declared legally dead.
It is unknown who reported Terri missing as are details of the investigation, including if authorities had a person of interest.
At the time of her disappearance, Terri Mozze stood 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighed 100 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. Parkinson’s Disease and affected the way Terri walked. She is classified as a disabled person. Her dental records, fingerprints, and DNA are not on file. It is stated that Terri was last seen wearing a gray shirt while carrying a brown backpack. She would be 62-years-old at the time of this publication.
Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact the New Orleans Police Department at (504) 658-5315 or their local authorities. The agency case number is C-12485-01.

Beverly Kaye McBride, 48: Loving Grandmother Found Murdered In 2007
Weeks after being reported missing, Beverly’s remains were located by a man cutting grass.
This is a case that was brought to my attention by a supporter of Our Black Girls, and it is one that I never heard of out of Texas. It was back in August 2007 when Beverly Kaye McBride, a loving mother and matriarch, was tragically killed in Beaumont. Searching for any updated information since 2007 has proven to be difficult, but the person who sent me this case was able to provide some photos of a news article published all those years ago.
