Mitchel Iviquel, 42: Homeless Woman Disappears In 2020
It is always unfortunate to see missing person reports with little information, but such is the case with Mitchel Iviquel. Not much has been publicly shared about the 42-year-old, but agencies state she was reported missing from Somerville, Massachusetts in March 2020 after her family stated they had not seen or heard from her in 12 months.
The circumstances leading to the relatives deciding to contact authorities officially is unclear. Mitchel was said to have been homeless and visited a family member’s home on March 31. The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System did not share the nature of that visit or who she was with, but WHDH News reported in April 2021 that Mitchel “was last seen in Boston with a man and his young daughter” the day she went missing.
The status of this investigation is unclear, but a handful of posts about Mitchel’s missing person case have been shared on social media. Some reports state she was either 42 or 43 years old. Prior to disappearing, Mitchel was known to spend time in Central Square.
At the time of her disappearance, Mitchel Iviquel stood 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighed approximately 135 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. What she was last seen wearing was unknown. Her middle name is “Valaudyne.”
