Sherise Magee, 1: Missing From Vegas Since 1975

Sherise Magee Missing

Once in a blue moon, the world is confronted by a news story about a missing child that steals headlines. It doesn’t happen as often as many would like, but ever so often, an adult comes forward believing that they may be a missing child who vanished decades prior. Although these declarations are often proven false, sometimes DNA tests confirm that these adults are, indeed, the children that families and investigators have been searching for. There is that sense of hope in the case of Sherise Magee.

There is very little known about this case from 1975. The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System states that one-year-old Sherise was last seen at her home near Martin Luther King and Lake Mead boulevards in Las Vegas, Nevada, around 11:00 p.m., before a family member took her. Who that relative may have been has not been shared in reports, but Sherise Magee has never been seen or heard from again.

The development of this investigation is unclear, as there does not seem to be any searchable news reports from the 1970s about the tot. Circumstances regarding Sherise’s last days with her family are also unknown.

Sherise Magee: What To Know

At the time of her disappearance, Sherise Magee stood 3 feet tall and weighed 27 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes.
