Consuella Cash, 7: Little Known About Child Who Disappeared In 1975

Consuella Cash

A young girl vanished from Los Angeles, Calif., and we still have not received an update about the status of her case decades after it was launched. It’s common in today’s culture to see social media flood the internet with information when a tragedy occurs involving children. From school shootings to Amber Alert abductions, not only does the general public jump in to make sure children’s faces remain in the spotlight, but so do the authorities. Consuella Cash disappeared back in 1975, and one would think that this mystery would have spawned a massive search covered by local media. Still, sadly, all these years later, we’re left with just a few sentences and a general description of the seven-year-old.

It was on January 3, just two days after the New Year celebrations, when Consuella Cash could not be found. The circumstances regarding her disappearance haven’t been shared by investigators, at least not publicly, which begs the question of where her parents were when the tot vanished. It is unknown if she was in the care of relatives or a sitter, if she was at home or at another location, or if she was being cared for or accidentally wandered off.

While the scarce information brings about more questions than answers, it was noted by the Office of the Attorney General – State of California Department of Justice in their flyer that the seven-year-old “may be a victim of homicide.” However, no further details were shared.

At the time of her disappearance, Consuella Cash stood 2 feet 11 inches tall or 3 feet 9 inches tall (depending on the agency) and weighed 44 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. Her ears were pierced. Consuella had a small circular birthmark on the left side of her cheek. What she was last seen wearing when she disappeared is unknown. Her dental records are not available. Consuella’s middle name is “LeShaun,” and she would be 55 years old at the time of this publication.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact the Los Angeles Police Department at (877) 527-3247 or their local authorities. The agency case number is 110323396.
