Carrie Grey, 39: Woman Vanishes From Alaska In 2021

The status of this case out of Alaska is unknown as the loved ones of Carrie Grey continue to seek answers about this missing person case. According to reports, Carrie was living in Anchorage when her loved ones claimed that they were unable to contact her in the Fall of 2021. This was uncommon, so it seems that the 39-year-old’s out-of-state relatives called in-state authorities to check up on Carrie, but the mystery only deepened when they were unable to make contact, as well.
The National Missing & Unidentified Persons System reported that “police did make contact with a local acquaintance of Carrie’s who last saw her at the end of November 2021.” Investigators officially listed her missing date as November 27, however, the nature of that last documented interaction is unknown. The Black & Missing Foundation shared Carrie’s missing flier on their Facebook page and added that she missed her daughter’s 15th birthday, which only intensified the concerns of Carrie’s loved ones.
“Efforts to locate Carrie have been unsuccessful,” reads the NamUs report.
Any information about Carrie Grey, her personal life, her work experience, or what she may have been doing in Fall 2021 is unclear as news reports of this case are almost non-existent. I attempted to look for other information including if she had a vehicle or the status of her cell phone records (if applicable), but at this time, there have only been a few sentences shared about this case.
At the time of her disappearance, Carrie Grey stood 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed 110 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair and brown eyes. Any distinguishing marks have not been listed in her public report and what she was last seen wearing is unknown.
Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact the Anchorage Police Department at (907) 786-8900 or their local authorities. The agency case number is AK22001829.
Please share this story about Carrie Grey to help reignite interest in her missing person case. She is our sister and her life matters.
