Bernadine Gunner, 52: Last Seen Driving Away From Home
The circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Bernadine Gunner have caused controversy regarding what truly happened to the missing 52-year-old woman. The last reported sighting of Bernadine was on July 11, 2010, at her home in Camden, New Jersey. Because public records and reports have been scarce, piecing together what happened is difficult.
Information regarding her personal relationships is unknown, but it was reported that she was last seen driving away from her residence. Investigators believed Bernadine was traveling in her blue four-door 2006 Hyundai Elantra because the missing woman and her car hadn’t been located.
Weeks after her disappearance, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported on Bernadine’s case and included a statement from authorities.
“She has a history of depression, and we fear she may be in danger,” Camden Police reportedly said in a statement at the time. In their report, The Charley Project states that Bernadine “may have been suicidal at the time of her disappearance.” On the Camden Police website, they wrote: “Advised family that she was going to kill herself because she could not find employment.” This does not rule out foul play.

At the time of her disappearance, Bernadine Gunner stood approximately 5 feet tall and weighed about 135 pounds. She had black/dark brown hair, brown eyes, and a medium brown complexion. She was last seen wearing a black camisole top and khaki capri pants. Bernadine would be 61 years old at the time of this publication.
